INTERESTING SCENCES :
It was an emotional scene when the half-witted father who can barely grasp situations managed to understand the abusive fright warning he got from the villain will put his daughter in danger, and as a loving father who wanted to protect his child, he forcibly took his death sentence for his daughter to live. I was sobbing at the last scene when the people around the father and daughter were aware of the eventual execution but the father can’t fully realized it happening because of his intellect as the daughter was not aware that she will never see him again for good. This prison bound film will touch any daughter and any father’s heart who sees it. It was a great on-screen performance by the father and daughter duo and the prison friends cast helping them.

SYNOPSIS : Living a bleak existence in a London orphanage, 12-year-old Peter (Levi Miller) finds himself whisked away to the fantastical world of Neverland. Adventure awaits as he meets new friend James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) and the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara). They must band together to save Neverland from the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman). Along the way, the rebellious and mischievous boy discovers his true destiny, becoming the hero forever known as Peter Pan
MAIN CHARACTER : 1. Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie. A mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up. Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, American Indians, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland. In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie's works. These include a 1953 animated film, a 2003 dramatic/live-action film, a TV series and many other works. 2. Wendy Moira Angela Darling is a fictional character and the female protagonist of Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie, and in most adaptations in other media. Her exact age is not specified in the original play or novel by Barrie, though she is implied to be 12 or 13 years old, as she is "just Peter's size" and he still has all his baby teeth. Wendy expresses an innocent adoration for Peter as soon as they meet, and is honest to herself and company throughout the entire book, play or film. As a girl who is beginning to "grow up", she stands in contrast to Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to do so, the major theme of the Peter Pan stories. In the beginning, Wendy hesitates to escape to Neverland, to take care of her brothers and accompany her mother, but in time, she shows passion for magical events and adventures.

Peter: *expectantly holding his hand out* I shall know when you give me one. Slightly: If Hook discovers our hiding place, he'll gut us. Wendy: How dreadful! Slightly: Oh, we live for it! Wendy: Yes but [Peter] was rather lonely. Hook: Lonely? ....he needed a Wendy. Pirate: [wistfully] I need a Wendy... Hook turns and shoots him.

Augustus is at the meeting to support his friend, Isaac, who is losing his remaining eye to cancer. Hazel and Augustus bond immediately and agree to read each other's favorite novels. Augustus gives Hazel The Price of Dawn, and Hazel recommends An Imperial Affliction, a novel written by Peter Van Houten about a cancer-stricken girl named Anna that parallels Hazel's own experience. After Augustus finishes reading her book, he is frustrated upon learning that the novel ends abruptly without a conclusion. Hazel explains the novel's author had retreated following the novel's publication and has not been heard from since.
A week later, Augustus reveals to Hazel that he has tracked down Van Houten's assistant, Lidewij, and, through her, has managed to start an e-mail correspondence with Van Houten. The two wrote to Van Houten with questions regarding the novel's ending and the fate of the mother of Anna. Van Houten eventually replies, explaining that he can only answer Hazel's questions in person. At a picnic, Augustus surprises Hazel with tickets to Amsterdam to meet Van Houten.
While in Amsterdam, Augustus confesses his love for Hazel. Hazel and Augustus finally meet Van Houten but are shocked to find that he is a mean-spirited drunk. Horrified by Van Houten's behavior, Lidewij confesses to having arranged the meeting on his behalf, angering Van Houten, who proceeds to insult Hazel's cancer, starting an argument and causing Hazel and Augustus to flee from the drunken author's home.
Augustus confesses that his health is not as good as Hazel had been led to believe. The two affirm their love and support for each other. Upon their return to Indianapolis, Augustus' health worsens and he ends up in the ICU for a few days. Fearing his death, Augustus invites Isaac and Hazel to his pre-funeral, where they give eulogies. An extremely sick Augustus died soon after. After this traumatic event, Van Houten shows up at Augustus' funeral to apologize to Hazel.
Hazel learns that Augustus was writing a sequel to An Imperial Affliction. Hazel reads Augustus' words. He says getting hurt in this world is inevitable, but we do get to choose who we allow to hurt us, and that he is happy with his choice, and hopes she likes her choice too. The book closes with Hazel stating that she does.

The title “Boy Meets Girl” suggests a run-of-the-mill romantic comedy, and at first the movie appears to be just that. A 20-something man and woman, longtime best friends, hang out at a coffee shop and give each other a hard time. He’s an avowed lothario and she’s lamenting the dearth of relationship-focused guys. Both are beautiful, so of course you set your stopwatch for how long it’ll take these two to just fall for each other already. But the movie, from writer-director Eric Schaeffer (“If Lucy Fell”), isn’t quite so straightforward. You see, the young woman, Ricky (Michelle Hendley), is transgender. She was born with male equipment and, although she hopes to one day change that, has more important things to save up for — like moving to New York, where she wants to become a fashion designer. Until then, Ricky is stuck in her home town, somewhere in Kentucky, working as a barista and perpetually shooting the breeze with her best buddy since first grade, Robby (Michael Welch), an easygoing, good-old-boy mechanic. But their routine is disrupted by the arrival of Francesca (Alexandra Turshen), who wanders into the coffee shop one day and falls for Ricky. At first Ricky writes her off as a stereotype — a rich, conservative Southern belle. But, despite her occasional cluelessness, Francesca is warm and open-hearted, even if she does think that being transgender is a communicable disease. The two become more than friends, and confusion quickly ensues. Neither Ricky nor Francesca has had a relationship with a woman, and Francesca happens to be engaged to a Marine stationed in Afghanistan. The transgender experience has been getting its due recently in pop culture, between the Golden Globe-winning Amazon series “Transparent,” about a transitioning baby boomer, and Netflix’s acclaimed “Orange Is the New Black,” which features transgender actress Laverne Cox. “Boy Meets Girl,” too, stars a transgender actress. Schaeffer discovered Hendley on YouTube and, despite a lack of experience, she brings a low-key naturalism to her portrayal, despite clunky dialogue and too-convenient plot twists.
“Boy Meets Girl” comes across not just as an emotional story, but also an earnestly instructive one. The director wants to make sure the audience walks away with no questions about life as transgender, which can be entertaining — as when Ricky and Robby have conversations about what it feels like to bed a woman — and deeply affecting, such as when Ricky literally lays herself bare, emerging from a lake entirely naked. Often, it feels conspicuously educational. The movie is far better when it focuses on its intimate story of love between family and friends in a small town. The sweet crux of the movie can be summed up in one back-and-forth between Francesca and Ricky after their first romantic encounter. Francesca wonders aloud if falling for a woman with a penis means she’s gay. “It has to make me something,” she says. Ricky doesn’t skip a beat: “Human?” she replies.

In order to build up his/her school, the player must complete quests to progress through the story, obtain Classmates (who are categorized by their types), Hangouts (where Students can...well, 'hangout'), and Land Plots (to put Hangouts and other various Decorations). The player is able to not only customize his/her appearance, but also the appearances of all other students in the school, excluding main characters created by the game (Autumn, Payton, Julian, etc). In order to get Hangouts and Land Plots, the player needs to acquire Coins and Rings. The player receives coins and rings from finishing quests, though they can also purchase coins and rings with real money in the Store. Coins can also be collected from Hangouts, as each student produces a certain amount of coins per hour depending on their type and level. In the beginning of the game, the player is able to choose their gender and type, though they are only able to choose from three particular cliques: Nerd, Prep, or Jock. There are various types in High School Story which range from basic types such as a Jock, Nerd or Prep to "combined" classmates like Cheerleader, Gamer or Student Governor, and the player can gain other students through two different methods: They can either buy students from Admissions using Coins or Rings, or they can try "Partying" to get the type of student they want. Partying is a game mechanic which allows players to gain special classmates without having to pay directly for them in Admissions. All parties take place in Party Central, which can be found in the Buildings tab for 1000 coins and is unlocked after a certain quest is completed. You may only have one Party Central and therefore can only send two classmates to party at a time.

At first, the other men in the cell, led by gang leader So Yang-ho, do not take kindly to Yong-go after reading in his file that he murdered and molested a child, but when Yong-go saves Yang-ho from being fatally stabbed by a rival gang leader, Yang-ho repays the favor by smuggling Ye-sung into Cell No. 7. Over time, they come to believe in his innocence, and make it their goal to help reverse the verdict at Yong-go's retrial
MAIN CHARECTERS:
i- LEE YONG GO – He has a mental disability and cannot speak normally. But he is a good father who loves his daughter Ye-seung more than anything.
ii- YE SUNG – She is a good daughter that love her dad. She also responsibility as a daughter and clever & good girl.
THEMES : Love, family, friendship , responsibility , being good at other people .

ReplyDeleteSynopsis :
Controversial rap star Eminem makes his acting debut in this hard-edged urban drama, inspired in part by incidents from the musician's own life. Jimmy Smith (Eminem), known to his friends as Rabbit, is a young man trying to make his way out of the burned-out shell of inner-city Detroit. Rabbit's entire life has been a hard climb, and it certainly hasn't gotten any easier lately; Rabbit has just been dumped by his girlfriend, forcing him to move back in with his emotionally unstable mother, Stephanie (Kim Basinger), and he's getting along especially poorly with Stephanie's new boyfriend. Rabbit has a factory job that's tough, demeaning, and doesn't pay especially well, and he's convinced his skills as a rapper are his only real hope at a better life. Rabbit makes music with a crew of DJ's and MC's who call themselves Three One Third, among them his close friend Future (Mekhi Phifer), but his status as a white kid making music in a predominantly African-American community and culture is extremely intimidating, and after Rabbit freezes up in the midst of an MC battle, he's convinced he's missed his chance and that he's doomed to lead a marginal life as a factory rat for the rest of his days. With the help of his friends, and his new girlfriend Alex (Brittany Murphy), Rabbit struggles to work up the courage and the confidence to take one more shot at making his dream a reality. 8 Mile was shot on location in Detroit; the name refers to 8 Mile Road, a thoroughfare along the city's perimeter which effectively separates the middle-class suburban neighborhoods from the lower-class inner-city. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

TITLE : PETER PAN
ReplyDeleteSYNOPSIS :
Living a bleak existence in a London orphanage, 12-year-old Peter (Levi Miller) finds himself whisked away to the fantastical world of Neverland.
MAIN CHARACTER :
THEME :
"All children, except one, grow up"
INTERESTING SCENE :
Smee gets several moments as well, including a few fourth wall gags.
Smee: *to the audience, as the pirates are hiding as Hook is attacked by the crocodile* It's all a bit tragic, really, in'it?
In that same moment, Hook is given a Shout-Out to his Disney counterpart by screaming "SMEEEEEEEEEE!"
This exchange:
Wendy: Don't you know what a kiss is?
Peter: *expectantly holding his hand out* I shall know when you give me one.
Slightly: If Hook discovers our hiding place, he'll gut us.
Wendy: How dreadful!
Slightly: Oh, we live for it!
Wendy: Yes but [Peter] was rather lonely.
Hook: Lonely? ....he needed a Wendy.
Pirate: [wistfully] I need a Wendy...
Hook turns and shoots him.

ReplyDeleteSynopsis :
Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16-year-old with thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs, attends a cancer patient support group at her mother's behest. During the support meeting, Hazel meets a 17-year-old boy named Augustus Waters, whose osteosarcoma caused him to lose his leg.
Main Character :
i - Hazel Grace Lancaster - The novel’s narrator and 16-year-old protagonist. An astute and remarkably conscientious girl, Hazel was diagnosed at age thirteen with a terminal form of thyroid cancer that has since spread to her lungs. She keeps most people at a distance, knowing her death will ultimately hurt them, until she falls in love with Augustus.
ii - Augustus Waters - The sixteen-year-old with osteosarcoma who becomes Hazel's boyfriend. Augustus has a keen wit and a tendency toward performance—he revels in grand romantic gestures. Augustus almost immediately falls in love with Hazel after meeting her at Support Group
Theme :
"That's the thing about pain ... It's demands to be felt"
Interesting Scene :
Hazel Finding Augustus Letter
-After days of searching for a letter she knew Gus had written to or about her, Hazel finally stumbles upon it, thanks to some help from Peter Van Houten's sympathetic assistant. There's no doubt that Shailene Woodley will be a wonderful Hazel, but it's this scene, the last in the book, that will show the depth of her portrayal.
-They picnic at the park together to crate a memory

ReplyDeleteThe title “Boy Meets Girl” suggests a run-of-the-mill romantic comedy, and at first the movie appears to be just that.
ReplyDeleteBut the movie, from writer-director Eric Schaeffer (“If Lucy Fell”), isn’t quite so straightforward.
Characteristic :
Boy Meets Girl is created by Elliott Kerrigan and written by Kerrigan, Simon Carlyle and Andrew Mettam. It stars Rebecca Root as Judy, Harry Hepple as Leo, Denise Welch as Pam, Leo's mother, as well as Janine Duvitski, Nigel Betts, Lizzie Roper and Jonny Dixon. It is directed by Paul Walker, the producer is Margot Gavan Duffy, and the executive producers are Sophie Clarke-Jervoise for Tiger Aspect and Kristian Smith for the BBC.[15]

HIGH SCHOOL
ReplyDeleteHigh School Story is a choice-based simulation game. The player is a student attempting to build their own high school, with no given name.
